Book Review: Making Love Potions: 64 All-Natural Recipes for Irresistible Herbal Aphrodisiacs by Stephanie L. Tourles

A sensual treat. (4 stars)

The beautiful cover of this book was what initially drew me to it but its wealth of natural ways to create sensuality made it worth picking up. I say sensuality because aphrodisiacs have always seemed a bit more strictly intended to produce sexual results and well, I don't think many do. But I digress, if you like the idea of enhancing your desirability, turning your bedroom into a boudoir, or simply having a few rituals to get in the mood this book has what you're looking for.

From teas and cordials, to linen sprays and massage oils Tourles presents a bevy of recipes that will delight the senses. Ingredients range from herbs, liqueurs, and chocolate to essential oils and flowers. Every sense will be tickled if you choose to try them and the stunning illustrations will make the tome itself a delight.
