About 2 years ago I was in a total health rut and struggling to find not just a type of fitness that suited my beginner level but motivation. By serendipity I came across a Blogilates booty workout video on Pinterest and after just a few minutes of watching it I had fallen in love with Cassey Ho's wonderful personality. A month later I completed my first beginner's workout calender from her website. Since that happy accident I've been a fan and I recommend Blogilates to everyone regularly, so naturally when Cassey began dropping little bits of book news last year I began watching eagerly for the preorder.
If you've been struggling to find a fitness instructor that can motivate you without breaking down your confidence HOT BODY YEAR ROUND is an excellent place to start. Including the history of Pilates and how Cassey created POP Pilates, meal plans and recipes, workouts and motivation it's got so much to offer a newbie. The photos are beautiful, the moves realistic, and the recipes completely doable! I'm a huge fan of the Pancakes with Berry Applesauce. But what I ultimately love about the book is what made me a fan to begin with, Cassey's beautiful heart shines in every motivational message and essay, I struggle with self confidence and there's so much encouragement and inspiration to be mined here.
The best part is, once you've got your book there's still a whole community of POPsters to help keep you going and the Blogilates website and app to supplement your clean eating and workouts. One of the reasons I'm always telling my friends about it is that this is the best way I've found to workout at home on a very tiny budget... as in for free!
