Not Quite Mega Coffee, Mega Hot Beverages Is More Accurate  (5 Stars)

If the death of your Keurig would cause tears chances are you have tried plenty of different K-Cups in your long-term relationship. But if you haven't been treating it to some variety might I suggest the Mega Coffee sampler as a good place to start?

I must preface this by saying that I feel that calling it the Mega Coffee sampler is extremely misleading! Mine contained a ratio of about 1:1 coffee versus other beverages. If I had ordered this in the summer I would have been really unhappy that it had so much cocoa. That aside I was overall really happy with it as I like cocoa, cider, and both herbal and black teas. The majority of the coffees I received were flavored with everything from pumpkin spice (which I actually hate), vanilla, and hazelnut to maple, caramel, and cinnamon. I received 2 Workaholics coffees, 1 Cake Boss, and 2 Guy Fieri the rest were an assortment of Brooklyn Bean Roaster, Hamilton Mills, Java Factory, Select by Trump. I feel like it's also worth noting there were no decaf coffees in my sampler.

I had several dupes in the cocoas including the Tootsie Roll, Charleston Chew and the ones from Brooklyn Bean Hot Cocoa. Sadly, it looks like the Carnival Cocoa which I loved isn't even available to buy anywhere. The Prospect teas were pretty flavorless but I liked the Stash ones. I even had one random K-Cup with a white lid with a big black question mark on it that was some kind of hazelnut flavored coffee.

There's been plenty of hit and miss between my husband and I tearing our way through the sampler but it's always fun trying new things so I think we would both still recommend it. If you're getting someone a Keurig for Christmas I think this would be a fun add-on so that they can play with their new machine and find tasty drinks without having to buy a whole box of something they might not enjoy.

Notes: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. Coffee with flavored creamer!!

  2. Oooh hot chocolate with marshmallows!

  3. My favorite hot beverage is coffee in the morning and green tea if I want something hot later in the day.
